The city from above · left panel, in detail
The city spreads out at the blue hour, crossed by a dark river spanned by lit bridges. The avenues trace lines of gold across a grid of rooftops still tinged with blue.
Where to hang it
A study, an urban living room, an entrance hall. On its own, this panel is the most legible of the three: the river gives the eye an immediate axis.
What it goes with
Midnight blue, copper, concrete, black metal. It opens the most contemporary series in the catalogue.
Which size to choose
Three 40 × 50 cm frames on about 1.50 m of wall, spaced 10 to 12 cm apart. This series is made to be seen from a distance: give it a wall you look at from the other end of the room.
Questions about this artwork
The complete triptych
This panel is one third of a single landscape. Hung side by side, the three line up exactly.
You are looking at the left panel. The three panels form a set: ordered together, they are printed in the same colour batch.
