Dunes, in detail

Long curves that follow one another like ridges of sand in the early morning. The gradients are continuous, with no sharp break, and the light seems to come from the right. Nothing holds the eye: it keeps moving.

Where to hang it

A bedroom, a bathroom, a study. It is a calm piece, made for a room where you want to lower the visual noise rather than create a focal point.

What it goes with

Off-white, sand, pale terracotta, thick textiles. It pairs well with another abstract from the same family, as long as you keep the same size and the same finish.

Which size to choose

Go for 30 × 40 cm on a shelf or a narrow wall, 40 × 50 cm above a single bed. The 50 × 70 cm needs a clear wall at least 1.20 m wide to breathe.

Questions about this artwork

No. The file is printed at full resolution on textured matte Fine Art paper, whose grain softens the transitions. It is the finish we recommend for this artwork, rather than glossy acrylic.

On a white wall, choose a frame that stands out: dark wood or black aluminium draws a crisp edge around the artwork. A white frame on a white wall would make the edges disappear.

Yes, if the room is ventilated and the artwork is away from direct splashes. In that case, acrylic is the finish that copes best with humidity, better than paper under glass.
