Do I need to provide a photo to order a wall art piece?

Accepted Answer

No. The 56 pieces in the Wall Art Collection are created by the house and already exist: you choose the piece, the size and the finish, we print and deliver. There is no photo to upload and no preview to approve, and you pay straight away. That is the difference with our portraits, which always start from your photos.

Which print should I choose for a child's bedroom?

Accepted Answer

A gentle subject in calm colours: the collection offers a whale, a sleeping little fox, a bear on the moon, hot-air balloons and a watercolour heart, all in the Child's bedroom section. For this room, stretched canvas is the safest choice: light, with no plexiglass and no reflections, ready to hang.

How much does a wall art piece cost?

Accepted Answer

The price depends on the size and the finish, and it is shown on each piece's page before you order: stretched canvas in 30 × 40 cm is the cheapest, acrylic in 50 × 70 cm the most expensive. Wall Art has its own price grid, separate from the portraits. Delivery is free in France from €60; below that it costs €3.95.

Which finishes and sizes are available?

Accepted Answer

Each piece comes in nine finishes: black, white, natural wood, dark wood or black aluminium frame under plexiglass, stretched canvas, canvas in a black or natural wood floater frame, and acrylic. Sizes run from 30 × 40 to 50 × 70 cm; triptych panels stop at 40 × 50 cm. The piece's page opens on the black frame in 40 × 50 cm.

Is the piece delivered ready to hang?

Accepted Answer

Yes, nothing to assemble: prints arrive framed under plexiglass, the canvas is stretched on a 3 cm FSC wooden frame, and acrylic is a rigid 4 mm panel. The parcel is reinforced for transport. If it arrives damaged, write to us within 14 days with photos: the piece is remade and sent again, or refunded.

Question 6

What is a triptych, and do the three panels cost less?

Accepted Answer

A triptych is a single image cut into three panels, hung side by side. The collection has seven: the dunes, the wave, the blue mountains, the undergrowth, the lavender field, the city from the sky and the cliffs. Each panel is sold on its own; taken together, the three get a discount of 11%, applied automatically in the basket.

Can text be engraved on a wall art piece?

Accepted Answer

Yes, text engraving is free on every piece, up to 40 characters: a name, a date, a word. You place it wherever you like on the image and choose the lettering, the colour, the size and the angle; that exact placement is printed with the piece. Note: an engraved piece becomes unique and can no longer be returned under the right of withdrawal.

Can I return a wall art piece?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Unlike creations made from your photos, a Wall Art piece carries a right of withdrawal: 14 days after receipt to let us know, then 14 days to send it back in its original packaging, with return costs at your expense. The refund follows within 14 days. An engraved piece can no longer be returned. Details on Delivery and returns.

Question 9

Do the frames have a mount?

Accepted Answer

No, no Lullae frame has a mount: the piece is printed edge to edge and fills the whole frame, under plexiglass. The whole image surface is kept, and the panels of a triptych follow on without a break. The frame is a slim moulding, 12 mm wide in wood or 10 mm in aluminium.

Do the frames have glass?

Accepted Answer

No, the frames are protected by plexiglass, never by glass: it is much lighter and less fragile, which matters in a child's bedroom as well as during transport. It is cleaned with a soft cloth, without solvents. Canvas, for its part, has nothing in front of the image, so it gives no reflections.

What are the delivery times?

Accepted Answer

Each piece is printed to order: allow 1 to 2 working days of production, then 3 to 5 working days of tracked shipping, 4 to 7 working days in total. There is no preview or composition to wait for. We deliver to mainland France and Corsica, Belgium and Switzerland; for another country, write to us at bonjour@lullae.fr before ordering.

Where are the pieces printed?

Accepted Answer

The pieces are designed in France by Lullae and printed in Europe, as close as possible to the delivery address: on 200 g matte Fine Art paper as a giclée print, on stretched canvas or under an acrylic panel. Each piece is printed to order, never stocked, then shipped in a reinforced parcel.

Which poster styles does the collection offer?

Accepted Answer

The collection brings together earth-toned abstracts, botanicals, line art, two motor racing pieces, childhood subjects, many landscapes, including the seven triptychs, and a reproduction of Van Gogh's The Starry Night. You can browse it by room: living room, main bedroom, child's bedroom, study, or show only the triptychs.

Which picture for a modern living room?

Accepted Answer

For a contemporary living room, the abstracts (Clay, Strata, Circles, Arch) and the line art suit clean lines; acrylic, rigid and glossy, heightens the modern effect. For a warmer living room, prefer the botanicals or the landscapes, in a natural wood frame or on canvas. The Living room section holds most of the collection.

Which picture above a sofa, and at what height?

Accepted Answer

A single picture takes up about two thirds of the width of the furniture: above a sofa, go for the 50 × 70 cm, or a triptych for a wide sofa. Leave 20 to 25 cm between the top of the backrest and the bottom of the frame, so the two read as one. If you hesitate between two sizes, take the larger one.

How do I hang a triptych?

Accepted Answer

Keep the same size and finish on all three panels, line them up on the same level and leave the same small gap between each, so the image reads as one. The centre of the group sits at eye level, around 145 cm from the floor in a room where people stand. Start with the central panel.

Do you have a print of Van Gogh's The Starry Night?

Accepted Answer

Yes: Van Gogh's The Starry Night, the 1889 painting, is offered as a faithful reproduction from the museum scan; the work is in the public domain. It is the only landscape-format piece in the collection, available framed, on stretched canvas, in a floater frame or in acrylic.

Do you have car posters?

Accepted Answer

Yes, two motor racing pieces: a red single-seater seen from above and the outline of a race circuit on a dark background, graphic and crisp. They suit a teenager's room as well as a study, and the free engraving lets you add a name or a date. For a child's bedroom, stretched canvas is light and reflection-free.

Can I download a print to print myself, or buy the frame alone?

Accepted Answer

The file, yes; the frame alone, no. Every piece comes in a digital version (€6.90): the high-definition file is emailed to you within minutes of payment, for personal use. We do not sell unmounted prints or frames on their own, though: the artwork is printed by us on framed Fine Art paper, on canvas or in acrylic, then delivered ready to hang. That is what guarantees the colour rendering and the quality of the finished piece.

Can a wall art piece be hung in a bathroom?

Accepted Answer

It is not the ideal spot: wood, paper and canvas react to humidity, which also encourages mould. If you are set on it, hang the piece away from the shower and the bath, in a well-ventilated room. A kitchen raises the same question near the sink and the hob.

Can I build a gallery wall with several pieces?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For a coherent group, keep the same size and finish on every piece, with an equal gap between the frames, and choose pieces from the same family, abstracts or botanicals, for a shared palette. There is no discount based on the number of pieces: only the three panels of a triptych get one.
