The cliffs · right panel, in detail

A wider, more distant view: the arch and the needle stand out on the left, the silver sea fills two-thirds of the frame, and a small boat passes in the distance. The horizon almost merges with the sky.

Where to hang it

A bedroom, a living room, a bathroom. On its own, this panel is the airiest of the series: mostly water and light.

What it goes with

Pearl grey, white, bleached wood, rattan. It closes the series on the open sea.

Which size to choose

As this panel is the emptiest, it can sit a little further from the other two if your wall requires it, up to 15 cm, without breaking the reading of the series.

Questions about this artwork

Yes, small but sharp, to the right of the needle. It gives the cliff its real scale, and it is one of the reasons not to crop this panel.

Very well: lots of sea, little relief, a soft light. It is the most restful of the three.

That is not the intention: the landscape is cut from left to right and the horizon line must stay continuous. Stacked, the three panels would give three horizons on top of one another.
