Hazel catkins, in detail
Bare hazel branches carry their catkins, long supple pale yellow clusters, in front of a misty water-green background. The twigs cross diagonally, very graphic, almost like ink linework.
Where to hang it
A bedroom, a bright living room, a bathroom. It is a late-winter image: bare, delicate, and yet already in flower.
What it goes with
Water green, cream, aged brass, blond wood. It bridges the catalogue’s botanical artworks and its mist photographs.
Which size to choose
The 40 × 50 cm shows off the crossing branches. At 30 × 40 cm, hang it as a pair with “Embroidered leaves” for a wall all in delicacy.
