Grasses, in detail
A sheaf of dried grasses (ears, wild oats, bending stems) rendered in fine lines, almost as if in pen, in rosy beiges and light browns. Each stem can be followed from base to ear, and the whole spray fans out like a bouquet that has just been set down.
Where to hang it
A bedroom, a living room in natural tones, above a headboard. The artwork is quiet: it warms the room without drawing attention, which makes it the ideal piece to live with.
