The misty valley, in detail

A valley of fir trees seen from above, crossed by rays of light breaking through the clouds: the ridges fade plane after plane into the white, from deep green to pale grey. A heavy sky takes up the top third.

Where to hang it

A living room, a study, a hallway. It is the most dramatic of the catalogue’s mist images, the one where something happens: the light wins over the fog.
