Yes, at Lullae. For family, child and pet portraits, you upload your photos and the preview appears in about 20 seconds, free of charge, with no account and no card. You only pay when you order the print, if you are happy with the likeness. Only the Realistic Portrait, composed by the atelier, is ordered before you see the preview.
At Lullae, the preview is free and you only pay for the print: from €39 for a small 20 × 25 cm canvas, from €79 for a 30 × 40 cm framed Fine Art print, and €125 for 50 × 70 cm in a black frame. The exact price for each size and finish is shown before any payment. Tracked delivery is free in France on orders from €60.
Choose a category and then a style in the creator, upload one or more photos, and the preview arrives in about 20 seconds. You then choose the size and finish (canvas, frame or acrylic) and place your order. The artwork is produced in 1 to 2 working days, then shipped in 3 to 5 working days: delivered in 4 to 7 working days in total. Nothing to install: everything happens in your browser.
Yes. Upload one photo per person, up to ten: each face is rendered in the same technique and the same light, then brought together in a single artwork. A group photo works too: the creator finds each face and lets you leave out a duplicate. The people never need to have posed together.

Compare a few concrete points: a preview made from your photos before you pay, whether separate photos are accepted, the total delivered price, the real lead time and what happens if the likeness disappoints. At Lullae, the preview is free, up to ten people photographed separately can be brought together, canvases start at €39, delivery takes 4 to 7 working days and a preview that is not a likeness is redone.
One photo per person, with the face sharp, from the front and well lit: a phone photo is enough. Avoid faces in shadow, in profile or behind sunglasses. An old photo works too: the portrait is recomposed from it in the chosen style. Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP and iPhone HEIC, up to 8 MB per photo.
Instant portraits are created from your photos, with fidelity guidelines: no embellishing, no changing of features, and age, wrinkles or glasses are kept. You judge the result on the preview, before paying. The Realistic Portrait adds the atelier’s work: several versions, the closest likeness selected and checked, and 2 revisions included.
The preview is free, the artwork is not. At Lullae, you see your photo turned into a portrait (watercolour, oil in the Old Master Portrait style, pastel…) without paying or creating an account, with 3 free previews a day. The printed artwork is paid for, from €39 on canvas, and the digital version (the high-definition file, with no watermark) costs €6.90. The preview itself stays watermarked.
For a family portrait, eight painterly styles (Watercolour & ink, Tender watercolour, Old Master Portrait, Royal Family, Soft pastel, Atelier sketch, Family storybook, Terracotta & sand) and poster styles such as the Manga portrait, the 3D animated film or Family from behind. Children have their own hero worlds, and pets have seventeen styles of their own.
Up to ten people in an instant portrait, with one photo per person or a group photo. A single person is possible too, as is a couple or three generations: nobody is added or left out. For a large family, choose the 50 × 70 cm size, which gives each face more room. The atelier’s Realistic Portrait accepts up to 8 photos, one per person.
Three large sizes, 30 × 40, 40 × 50 and 50 × 70 cm, in nine finishes: five frames with acrylic glazing (black, white, natural wood, dark wood, aluminium), stretched canvas, two floater-framed canvases and acrylic. There are also two small canvases, 20 × 25 and 27 × 35 cm. The 40 × 50 cm is the most popular size for a first artwork.
The framed print, on embossed matt Fine Art paper behind acrylic glazing, gives a crisp, protected result: it is the most classic choice, from €79. Stretched canvas on a wooden frame, with no frame or glazing, looks more painterly and suits the painted styles, from €39 in the small size.
Tracked delivery is free in France on orders from €60; below that, it costs €3.95. Lullae delivers to mainland France and Corsica, Belgium (€22) and Switzerland (CHF 28, prices shown in Swiss francs). For any other destination, including the French overseas territories, write to us at [email protected] before ordering: we check what is possible and tell you the lead time and cost. The amount is shown in your basket, before payment.
Payment happens on Shopify’s secure checkout, by Visa, Mastercard or American Express card, Apple Pay, Shop Pay or Klarna (pay in instalments). Lullae never sees your card details. You only pay when you order the print, once you have seen the preview: creating the preview itself requires no payment method at all.
Once printing has started, the order can no longer be cancelled: a portrait created from your photos is a personalised item, with no right of withdrawal. That is why you approve the preview before paying. The legal guarantees still apply, and a preview that is not a good likeness is redone free of charge.
They stay private: they are only used to create your portrait, are never reused or shared, and are never used to train models. Uploads that do not lead to an order are deleted automatically after about 30 days, and you can ask for deletion at any time. The details are in our privacy policy.
Each portrait is designed in France, then printed in Europe, as close to you as possible, on Fine Art paper or artist canvas. The artwork travels in a tracked, reinforced parcel and arrives ready to hang. If it arrives damaged, it is reprinted and sent again free of charge: write to us within 14 days, with photos of the parcel and the artwork.
Yes, on family, child and pet portraits: engraved text is free (worth €9.90). You have 40 characters, five lettering styles and four colours, and you place the text yourself on the preview; it is built into the print. The Birth Portrait, however, does not offer text.
Yes: birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s or Father’s Day, a new baby. You prepare the surprise with photos you already have and see the result before ordering. You can have it delivered straight to the recipient by giving their address. The artwork arrives protected for transport and ready to hang, without gift wrapping.
No. The preview is created without an account or a card: you choose a style, upload your photos and see the result. Your previews stay in “My creations” for about 30 days, on the same device and browser. You can also leave your email address to receive the preview and order it later.
Yes: under the order button, the digital version (€6.90) emails you the high-definition file of your creation, with no watermark or frame, within minutes of payment, for personal use. Its price is shown next to the button. The on-screen preview stays in reduced quality and watermarked, and you can share it with your family through a link before ordering.
Yes, with the Pet Portrait. “Their portrait, solo” stages your pet in one of seventeen styles, from Renaissance King to Pop art, including a royal portrait as King or Queen; “You & your pet” brings it together with one or more people. Each artwork shows a single animal. One or two photos of your pet are enough, and the preview is free, just as for a family portrait.
Yes. The Child Portrait makes your child the hero of a scene: superhero, princess, astronaut, knight and dragon, woodland fairy, dinosaurs or 3D animated film. Their face stays true to life; only the outfit and setting change. One sharp photo is enough, the preview is free, and prices are the same as for family portraits, from €39.
Yes. The Couple category brings two adults together, with no children, in one of the eight painterly styles or as a poster (Manga portrait, 3D animated film, Family from behind). The two photos can be taken separately. There is also a Wedding category, with the couple in wedding attire, and a Couple & future child category, which adds an imagined young child.
Yes, with Photo Restoration. Tears, creases, stains and scratches are repaired, and a black and white, sepia or faded photo is colourised automatically. A phone photo of the print is enough. The preview is free, then you order the print, from €39 on canvas or €79 framed, or the restored photo as a digital version, sent by email.
Yes. The family tree brings together up to 40 people arranged by generation, each shown from their photo, as a silhouette from behind or as a front-facing portrait. Anyone without a photo gets a silhouette from our library. It can be ordered from €69 on canvas and €79 framed; above 8 people, in 50 × 70 or 60 × 80 cm, and above 36, in 60 × 80 cm.
It is a photorealistic portrait composed by the Lullae atelier, from up to 8 photos, one per person, in some sixty settings.
