Hot-air balloons, in detail

Three watercolour hot-air balloons rise into a very pale blue sky: the largest in the centre, its envelope in pastel chevrons, escorted by two smaller ones in pink and butter yellow. A few clouds dabbed on with the brush, a white margin all around.

Where to hang it

A child’s bedroom, a reading nook, a playroom. The movement is upward and slow: it is an image that goes well with falling asleep.

What it goes with

White or pale blue walls, natural wood, freshly washed linen. With “The whale” and “The bear and the moon”, it forms the sky, sea and night trio of the children’s range.
