The dunes · centre panel, in detail
The sand path opens between two walls of marram grass and leads straight to the sea, visible as a silver band on the horizon. This is the panel that carries the subject: the gap, the walk, the promise of the beach.
Where to hang it
A living room, an entrance hall, a hallway facing a door. It is the only one of the three that tells something: you step into the image.
What it goes with
Sand, ecru, blond wood, white. It shares the place and the light with “The dune path”, but do not hang them together: they would repeat each other.
Which size to choose
If you only take one panel from the series, take this one: it is the only one that stands alone as a complete landscape. In a triptych, it takes the centre and must be perfectly centred on the furniture or the sofa.
