The woodland · right panel, in detail

The forest edge: the pines thin out, golden light hits them from the right and the fog clears towards the bottom of the frame. The trunks are slimmer, younger.

Where to hang it

A bedroom, a living room, an entrance hall. On its own, this panel is the warmest of the series: it carries the only golden colour of the three.

What it goes with

Beige, soft green, oak, rattan. It closes the series by stepping out of the forest.

Which size to choose

Closing the series, it is better not to have it hard up against a corner: keep at least 20 cm after the frame so that the way out of the forest has some air.

It comes from the right in the original photograph, so it is stronger on this panel. That is intended: the series goes from shadow to light, from left to right.
